Writing this book has been one of the most satisfying things I have ever done and, to be honest, one of the most difficult.

I wrote this book from the perspective of a reader, not an author. Let me explain. The western novel has always been my favorite type of book to read. I wrote Apache Sunset as a guy who knows what should be in a good western novel and what shouldn’t be in one. I hope I’ve been successful at that. I’m sure my readers will answer that question for me.
